Anupam Kher honoured with Senate Proclamation from Texas

Veteran actor has been conferred a Senate Proclamation by The Texas State Senate.

Kher, 60, who is touring the US and Canada for his play "Mera Woh Matlab Nahin Tha", took to Twiter to express his happiness over the honour. The actor said he felt humbled to receive the recognition.

"Thank you The Senate Of The State Of Texas for honouring me with the 'Senate Proclamation'. I feel Happy & Humbled," Kher tweeted.

The actor, a known Bollywood export in the US, has appeared in Hollywood films like "Bend It Like Beckham", "Lust, Caution", and "Silver Linings Playbook".
