Around a dozen armed men allegedly looted a brass goods manufacturing unit after holding the guard and employees as captives at gun-point in Sahibabad Site Four Industrial Area here, police said today.

Factory owner Sanjay Gupta in his complaint alleged that around a dozen robbers barged into the manufacturing unit last night and took the guard Arun Sharma and employees Tinkoo, Ram Phal and Rakesh into captivity at gun point and gagged them, SHO of Link Road Police Station Upendra Yadav said.

The robbers then looted five tons brass goods and decamped in a mini truck. Later the employees somehow freed themselves and informed the Manager Dinesh Pandey who in turn called the police, he said.

A case has been registered and the employees are being interrogated as there were some loopholes in the narrative of the incident, Yadav added.
