With the arrest of two robbers, police today claimed to have solved several cases of robbery as well as the shoot out at Sarita Vihar in south Delhi.
The duo Deepak (25) and Amit (23), both residents of Badarpur, were arrested yesterday on specific input, from Asian Market near MB Road, said Prem Nath, DCP(South).
"Deepak alias Nikhil also disclosed his involvement in a shootout in Sarita Vihar last month in which one person sustained injury," the DCP said.

The police team which arrested them also recovered one pistol along with two live cartridges and one country made pistol and its live cartridge.
During interrogation, they admitted committing robberies by snatching valuables while riding on their bike, and also by breaking windowpanes of cars parked at lonely places.
Police also recovered five stolen laptops from them.
