Army helicopter makes unscheduled landing in Assam

An Army helicopter today made an unscheduled landing at a field in Assam's Golaghat district, official sources said.

The helicopter with the pilot and two crew members on board landed at Morongi Pathar with a huge crowd gathering.

The crew members did not allow the crowd near the helicopter and took off after 25 minutes before the circle officer reached the spot.

Local people claimed that when they asked the pilot if he was facing any problem, he replied that he did not and was seen speaking on his mobile phone.

Army officials were unavailable for comment.
