A 48-year-old woman and her minor son were today killed when the tonga they were travelling on was hit by a truck on the Moradabad-Farrukhabad road in the district.
Shyambati (48) and her son Mohit (13) were killed on the spot while four others were injured in the mishap that took place near Rota village of Wazirganj area, police said.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital where the condition of two of them is stated to be serious.
