Army jawan dies due to gunshot injuries

A 27-year-old army jawan today succumbed to gunshot injuries in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a senior army officer said.

Sepoy Mohan Lal, a resident of Balaur area of Punjab and working with Rastriya Rifles unit in Mendhar belt of this district, was found in pool of blood at his camp, he said.

He was shifted to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, the officer said.
