Army Yachting Node (AYN) continued to dominate the ongoing 'Hyderabad Sailing Week' though other sailors, too, put up a competitive show here today.
AYN's sailors excelled in Laser Radial category again on the third day of the even, except for a brief challenge from young sailor Vishnu of TSC, a release from the organisers said.
Harpreet of AYN was initially ahead in Race number 10, but Sharif Khan, also of AYN, moved ahead and went on to win the race. Vishnu also moved ahead of Harpreet to beat him narrowly, it said.
In Race number 11 too, Nookarjun of AYN was at the front, but Sharif Khan moved ahead and finally won the race. Harpreet won the Race number 12, followed by Sharif Khan and Sachin Singha of EME SA.
In 470 Class category, during Race number 10, the duo of Pawan and Vishal of INWTC (M), a relatively new team, was leading over all the seasoned sailors, but the experienced combination of Ayaz and Shubham of AYN finished first, followed by another AYN duo of Muthu and Narendra.
The Race number 11 was won by Atul and Mahesh of AYN, while Race Number 12 was bagged by AYN's Muthu and Narendra, the release added.
