Sailors of Army Yachting Node (AYN) swept all the top five positions in Laser STD category on the second day of the 'Hyderabad Sailing Week' today.
Swatantra Singh, Muzahid Khan, Gitesh, Kundan Upadhyay and Vivek bagged the top five positions, respectively, said a release.
Sailing in the Hussain Sagar lake was even more challenging for the participants due to heavy rain and strong wind, it said.
In Laser 4.7 category, Rishabh Nayar (YCH), Aniket Rajaram (TNSA), Koteshwar Rao (TSC), Ram Milan Yadav (NSS) and Satish Yadav (NSS) stood at first, second, third, fourth and fifth places, respectively.
In RS:X category, it was again AYN which bagged all the top positions with Jerome Kumar S, Kore MN and Arjun Reddy securing first, second and third positions, respectively.
In Hobie-16, Jaspreet Singh and Nitesh Kumar of AWSA, Patel Kamlesh Kumar and Rawankar UB of AYN, Patel Ashish Kumar and Nagen Behra of EME Sailing Association obtained first, second and third positions respectively.
In Enterprise category, Major General Sanjeev Khanna and Jay Haridas of EME Sailing Association have taken the lead, the release added.
