Filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit is all set to receive the Kashmir Gaurav Samman, which will be given to him by All India Kashmiri Samaj.
The filmmaker had produced and directed the hit TV show 'Filmi Chakkar' that starred actor Satish Shah and actress Ratna Pathak Shah.
"Receiving the 'Kashmir Gaurav Samman' by All India Kashmiri Samaj in Delhi. Thanks for all your love and affection," Ashoke tweeted.

The director has been working towards the welfare of the Kashmiri Pandits for over 15 years.
He also made a documentary 'And the World Remained Silent' on the plight of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Other notable work of Ashoke includes 'Tere Mere Sapne', 'Colgate Top 10', 'Thriller at 10', 'Hanste Khelte', 'Vilayati Babu', 'Rishtey', and 'Gubbare' and 'Mukkammal' with Deepti Naval' among others.
