One person killed in accident on the Mumbai-Goa highway

One person died today morning in an accident on the Mumbai-Goa highway near the Chiplun bus station.

Shrikant Jadhav (19) a pedestrian was run over by a bus going towards Goa, killing him on the spot.

The Chiplun police is investigating the matter.

Highway traffic has increased due to summer vacations and the number of accidents have incresed during the last few days, sources said.
