Bella Hadid splits from The Weeknd

Model Bella Hadid and her R&B singer boyfriend The Weeknd have parted ways.

The couple called it quits after almost two years together, reported Us magazine.

"They still have a great deal of love and respect for each other and will remain friends, but it has been too hard to coordinate their schedules with him finishing and promoting his upcoming album. They really tried to make it work," a source close to the "Starboy" singer said.

Hadid, 20, and The Weeknd, 25, first met when the Grammy winner asked her to feature in the artwork of his breakthrough album "Beauty Behind the Madness" back in April 2015.
 

The pair first stepped out together publicly at the 2016 Grammys. The duo were last photographed together in Tokyo last month.
