Ben Affleck congratulates George Clooney on his wedding

Actor Ben Affleck has congratulated his good friend George Clooney on his wedding to lawyer fiancee Amal Alamuddin.

Affleck, 42, said he is happy that Clooney has found a very nice girl in his life.

Clooney, 53, tied the knot with human rights lawyer Alamuddin, 36 in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy on Saturday, reported Us magazine.

"Yeah. Some people have to work and everybody else gets to be in Venice. But (George) found a great girl and I am happy for them. I wish them the best," he said in an interview.

Affleck could not attend the ceremony as he has been in New York promoting his upcoming thriller 'Gone Girl'.
