George Clooney and fiance Amal Alamuddin reportedly spent time with her mother, Baria Alamuddin, at his villa on Lake Como in Italy over the weekend.
Prior to her mother's visit Amal and Clooney enjoyed some alone time by having dinner at hotel Villa D'Este in Cernobbio Village, reported People magazine.
"They were outside, and Amal and her mom were smiling. It was going pretty great. Amal's mom left the next day, and at the airport they just looked so happy," a source said.
"George and Amal looked very much in love all weekend. They were all smiles, holding hands. There was an air of romance," the source added.
The pair are expected to tie the knot during a September ceremony somewhere secluded in Italy.
The 53-year-old actor, who had often ruled out marriage in his interviews, surprised Hollywood and his fans by getting engaged to the 36-year-old lawyer in April.
