The Madhya Pradesh government today launched bicycle rental service here on the occasion of the state's foundation day.
Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya launched the service.
Under this 'Public Cycle Service', a person can hire a bicycle for Rs 10 per an hour. To start with, he or she will have to deposit Rs 500.

The user will then be issued a smart card. Alongwith bicycle, a helmet too will be given, said Atal Indore City Transport Service Limited's CEO Sandeep Soni.
The service will start with 15 cycle stands across the city.
Indore Mayor Krishnamurari Moghe said on this occasion that the facility is not only cost-effective but environment-friendly, and will help reduce the congestion on roads.
