Reshuffle in Assam police

The Assam Government today

effected changes in the police department transferring three Additioanl Director Generals of Police, an official release said here.

ADGP-cum-Fire and Emergency Services Umesh Kumar has been transferred as ADGP (Administration) with effect from date of taking over charge an until further orders vice ADGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta, a government release said.

ADGP (Railways) Prit Pal Singh was transferred and posted as ADGP-cum-Fire and Emergency Services.

ADGP Mahanta was transferred and posted as ADGP (Railways), the release added.
