Press Trust of India Chandigarh
Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh today alleged that BJP and AAP have "joined hands to target" Sheila Dikshit following speculation that she may be made the party's chief ministerial face for next year's Assembly polls in politically crucial state of Uttar Pradesh.

"Kejriwal and his party had cried hoarse about the alleged corruption of Delhi's former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, but had found nothing during their 15 months' rule," he claimed in a statement here.

"Now suddenly they woke up and charged her of corruption and surprisingly the Lieutenant Governor took no time to forward the complaint to the ACB. Both Modi and Kejriwal have ganged up against Congress and their true colours have been revealed," Amarinder alleged.

A report of a fact-finding panel on the alleged Rs 400-crore water tanker scam linking Dikshit was today forwarded to Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung for investigation.

The report by a committee of the Delhi Jal Board was sent to Jung by the AAP government for probe by either CBI or Delhi's ACB following persistent demand by city BJP leader Vijender Gupta.

"It is a classic example of Kejriwal proposing and Modi disposing," Amarinder remarked and claimed, "Jung, who otherwise never agrees to or accepts any proposal of Kejriwal, forwarded his politically motivated complaint to the ACB.
