BJP marketing hatred: Tewari

Hitting back at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for his comment that Congress was marketing poverty, Union minister Manish Tewari today took accused the Opposition of marketing hatred.

Reacting to Modi's statement, he also said that the Congress wants to eliminate poverty from the country.

"BJP says Congress marketing poverty... Reality is Congress wants to eliminate poverty... BJP the poor metaphorically anything better than marketing hatred," Tewari tweeted.

Addressing a rally at Kanpur yesterday, Modi took jibes at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on poverty.

Modi had said that one should look at the language Rahul has used.
 

"He says poverty is nothing. It is only a state of mind. Those born with a golden spoon-what do they know of poverty," Modi had said.
