Blushing Romeo, ridden by N Rupa, won the Salem Plate, the prime event of the races here today.

The winner, a property of P L Ravi, is trained by R Foley, who ended the day with a rich haul of five winners.

Jockeys Rupa and Rajendra Singh rode two winners each.
