Body found hanged from tree in UP

The body of a man was found hanging from a tree in Tugalpur village in the district, police said today.

The man, who hailed from Madhya Pradesh and worked here as farm labourer, had gone missing a day before his body was found yesterday, they said, adding that it appeared to be a case of murder.

Police said the body has been sent for post-mortem, and investigation into the matter was underway.
