Body of a woman found

The body of a

30-year-old woman was today recovered from near a quarry under Muffasil police station in Pakur district, police said.

Preliminary investigation suggested that the woman was murdered with a stone and the body then dumped at a place close to Tildihita railway station, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Kaushal Kishore.

He did not rule out the possibility of the victim being raped and murdered.

The body was sent for post-mortem.
