Body of ex-serviceman found in canal

An ex-servicemen was today found dead near a drain in Bamb village, police said.

Chamkaur Singh, a resident of Khjana Kot village was missing from his house when he went to his field last evening, police said.

The body was recovered with an injury on his forehead, they said.

A case has been registered under section 302 of the IPC against unidentified persons, police said.
