Body of missing Muslim cleric found hanging from tree

The body of a Muslim cleric, who was missing since Monday, was found hanging from a tree at Kheri Karmu village in Shamli district.

Moulvi Harun, who worked at a madrasa, was missing since Monday. His body was found hanging from a tree last evening, police said.

The body has been sent for postmortem and a probe started to ascertain whether he committed suicide or was murdered.
