Body of woman found

Body of a 26-year-old woman was

found with serious injury marks at Pachenda village of the district, police said here today.

The body was found in a sugarcane field yesterday and it is suspected that she was allegedly raped before being strangulated, police said.

The deceased is yet to be identified and the body has been sent for post mortem, police added.
