Bijay Ranjan Padhy, a businessman was returning home along with his brother on his motorcycle after closing his business establishment at Panikoili bazaar at about 11 am last night when the incident took place.
Three motorcycle borne unidentified miscreants followed and intercepted him near Ochinda village on Panikoili-Ragadi road, the police said.
