Cardamom futures edge lower on weak demand

Cardamom prices fell by Rs 12.80 to Rs 1,166 per kg in futures trade today as investors exited their positions amid subdued physical demand at the domestic spot market.
Adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from producing regions too fuelled the downtrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in May month contract eased by Rs 12.80, or 1.09 per cent, to Rs 1,166 per kg, in a business turnover of 73 lots.
