After an Allahabad High Court order, the CBI has registered two cases against the then Chief Engineer NOIDA, Greater NOIDA and Yamuna Expressway, Yadav Singh and his family members for alleged corruption and amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income.
Close on the heels of lodging two cases with special CBI court, the agency today carried out searches at 14 locations including at Yadav's residence and offices of Noida. One of his bungalows in Noida was sealed by the agency.
Both Singh and his son Sunny Yadav, who had been attending his office till yesterday, could not be traced today by the CBI. His wife Kusum Lata and daughter Garima Bushan were present at one of the locations where searches were carried out, CBI sources said.

The sources said the agency is scrutinising clearances given by Singh during his tenure and alterations in the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of the buildings.
The bungalow, which reportedly has 14 air conditioners, was sealed and now the CBI will issue a notice to Singh for personal appearance at the premises before carrying out searches there.
The agency also searched the residential premises of Garima Bhushan, married to an IAS officer, at posh Butler Palace Colony.
The first case has been registered under criminal conspiracy and provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act against all the four besides one more person Rajender Minocha for amassing disproportionate assets.
