The charred remains of a 25-year-old woman and her three-year-old daughter were recovered from their house in Odisha's Kendrapara district.
The skeletal remnains of Surekha Sahu and her daughter Lipika were found from the toilet of her house at Koranda village under Kendrapara police station area after locals informed the police, Inspector Rajkanika Police Station, Sandhyarani Behera said.
The woman's husband Bikram Sahu and her father-in-law Brundaban Sahu have been detained and are being questioned.
