Child killed in accident

A four-year old child was killed when a tempo in which she was travelling was hit by a bus here today, police said.

Farida Begum was travelling to Mandia from Barpeta along with her parents in the tempo. She had stretched out her head and the bus rammed it killing her on the spot.

She was rushed to Barpeta Medical College and Hospital, but the doctors declared her brought dead, police said.
