CHSE Odisha +2 results declared

The results of the annual Plus-II Arts, Commerce and Vocational examinations were declared today in which girls outshone boys.

School and Minister announced the results of the examinations conducted by the (CHSE).

While the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 68.79 in Arts stream, 74.91 students passed in the Commerce stream and 52.61 in the Vocational stream.

The results were declared on May 19.

Of the total 2,30,206 students in the Arts stream, 1,58,378 students have cleared the examination, of whom 63,759 are boys (60.88 per cent) and 94,619 are girls (75.39 per cent).

Among the Arts students who have cleared the examination, 19,993 have secured first division, 26,076 students passed in the second division and 1,12,143 in the third division.

While Puri has topped the district chart in the Arts stream with the highest pass percentage at 79.87, tribal dominated district has the lowest pass percentage at 47.58.

In the Commerce stream, the pass percentage is 74.91 as against last year's 71.43 per cent.

Of the total 26,984 Commerce students, 20,216 students have cleared the examination of whom 13,089 are boys (73.11 per cent) and 7,127 are girls (78.48 per cent).

Among the Commerce students who have cleared the examination, 4,006 have secured first division, 3,734 got second division and 12,470 passed in the third division.

Nayagarh has topped the district chart in the Commerce stream with the highest pass percentage at 95.59, while Deogarh has the lowest pass percentage at 45.07.

In the stream, the pass percentage is 52.61 as against 61.22 per cent of the previous year.

Of the total 7966 students in the stream, 4,191 students have cleared the examination, of whom 2,080 are boys (48.71 per cent) and 2,111 are girls (57.11 per cent).

Among the students who have cleared the examination, 299 have secured first division, 1,692 have passed in second division and 2,051 in third division.

Bargarh has topped among the districts in the stream with the highest pass percentage at 81.89, while district recorded the lowest pass percentage with only 3.92.
