: City based PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research has secured the first spot among 523 non-autonomous affiliated engineering colleges under Anna University.
The Institute topped with 98.33 per cent in the recently released rank list based on the academic performance of BE/B Tech degree programmes for non-autonomous affiliated engineering colleges under Anna University, Chennai for Nov- Dec 2014 semester exams, an institute release said today.
Congratulating the faculty, staff and students for achieving the rare feat, PSGiTech principal Dr P V Mohanram said his was made possible due to the hard work put forth by them.
Unique teaching methods like peer learning, extensive tutorial sessions, were also instrumental in securing this coveted position, Mohanram said.
