Clash between communities over incident of eve-teasing

Tension prevailed in Ghosia locality in Aurai area here today following a clash between members of two communities over an alleged incident of eve-teasing, police said.

The incident took place this evening when members of two communities clashed over an alleged incident of eve-teasing and started pelting bricks at each other. Attempts were also made to set a bike on fire.

Senior police officers reached the spot and controlled the situation.

The youth accused of eve-teasing has been arrested, a police officer said, adding that a large number of police force has been deployed in the area.
