Clash over assault of woman in UP

A clash broke out between two groups over an alleged assault of a woman in Purahar village of kotwali Aliganj, police said today.

The accused Sheeloo allegedly assaulted a woman while she was working in the fields after which heated argument broke out between the two groups yesterday, they said.

The woman was injured and later admitted to a hospital here.

An FIR has been registered against Sheeloo and three others in this connection, police said, adding no arrests have been made so far.
