Class X boy shot dead in UP district

A Class X boy was today shot dead in Gola kotwali area, police said here.

Salim (15) was shot dead by Chhotey alias Salimuddin after a minor quarrel in village Allaganj.

Gola police station in-charge A K Upadhyay said that the accused, Chhotey, has been nabbed from a sugarcane field.

"Chhotey during interrogation confessed to his crime and said he killed Salim as he had teased his sister," he said.

In another incident, a farmer, Ram Khilawan (32), was today hacked to death at Sarkhanpurwa village in Kheri Town police station area.
