A four feet long cobra was today found inside a bathroom of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (PUSA) here sending chill down the spines of the staff.

The venomous snake was found by a maintenance worker in the institute who went to unlock the rest rooms in the morning and alerted the senior staff.

A rescue team from Wildlife SOS was called in who rescued the reptile and according to them it was found to be in good health and will be released back into its natural habitat.

"The snake was startled by the intrusion and the activity and had flared its hood in a defensive position. Keeping public safety as their top priority, the team cleared the area and rescued the snake," says Suvidha Bhatnagar of the Wildlife SOS.
