Copper, zinc rise on increased demand

Prices of copper and zinc rose up to Rs 3 per kg at the local non-ferrous metals market today due to increased demand from consuming industries.

In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot rose by Rs 3 and Rs 2 to Rs 446 and Rs 113-119 per kg, respectively.

Following are today's metal rates (in Rupees per kg):

Zinc ingot 113-119, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,094-1,100, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 446, Chadri deshi 285.

Lead ingot 117, Lead imported 115, Aluminium ingots 155, Aluminium sheet cutting 156, Aluminium wire scrap 158 and Aluminium utensils scrap 155.
