A man and a woman, belonging to different religions, allegedly committedsuicide as their families disapproved of their relationship, at Adyarpadavu near hereearly today, police said.
Claud (35) andJayanti (30) killed themselves by jumping before a train, they said.
They were suspected to have taken the extremestep as their families opposed their relationship as theybelonged to different religions, sources said.
The two had been missing for the last two days and the woman's family had filed a complaint with the police.
