A Banda court has sentenced a couple to life imprisonment for allegedly killing their teenage daughter in 2013.
District and Sessions Judge, Bhupendra Sahay yesterday awarded life sentence to Ram Autar and his second wife Sudha for killing their daughter Sangeeta (15) in Gajpurwa area in 2013, government counsel Manoj Yadav said.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them.
The duo had brutally beaten up the girl with sticks following a heated argument.
