CPI Puducherry unit condoles Bardhan's death

The Puducherry State committee of CPI today condoled the death of party veteran A B Bardhan.

A condolence meeting of the party's executive committee held at the party office here paid homage to the departed leader.

Secretary of the party's State committee R.Viswanathan recalled in a release the multi faceted role Bardhan had played for the amelioration of the lot of working class, students, and also the depressed sections of people.

Bardhan died at a hospital in the national capital on Saturday.
