CRPF jawan kills self

A CRPF jawan today committed suicide by shooting himself in his camp in Manoharpur area of West Singhbhum district.

The jawan, identified as Ravi Yadav, locked himself in a room and shot himself dead with an Insas rifle, Superintendent of Police Michael Raj S said.

A resident of Haryana, Yadav resumed duty today after availing leave.

The reason behind him taking the extreme step is yet to be established, the SP added.
