Cylinder blast: newborn succumbs to injuries; toll rises to 5

A seven-day-old girl who was injured in a gas-cylinder explosion in a house at Charthawal town here, died today taking the death toll in the incident to five.

The newborn girl was injured after a gas-cylinder caught fire and exploded last Sunday. She died today, police said.

Four persons, including three children, were killed in the explosion that ripped off the roof of a house in Charthawal town last Sunday.
