'Dear White People' renewed for season two
"Dear White People" is coming back for a second season.
Creator Justin Simien confirmed that the satirical comedy-drama TV series will return to Netflix next year, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Simien announced the news of a 10-episode second run at the Essence Festival on June 30.
The official Twitter handle of the show also confirmed the news with a video of the cast members celebrating the renewal with selfies.
The show is based upon the 2014 movie of the same name, that revolves around the lives of African-American students on a predominantly Caucasian fictional Ivy League campus.
The first installment aired on April 28 this year.
