'Democrats making phony polls to discourage GOP supporters'

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump today alleged that the Democrats are making phony calls to discourage his party supporters from voting.

"Major story that the Dems are making up phony polls in order to suppress the [sic] Trump," Trump said in his latest tweet this morning.

"We are going to WIN!" the Republican leader said.

Trump, however, did not describe which polls he is referring to.

As per RealClearPolitics, which keeps track of all major polls, Clinton is leading by six percentage points, in an average of these polls, some of which says that Trump is trailing by 12 points.

Meanwhile, in a memo sent to his supporters Trump claimed his internal polls shows that he is falling short of four electoral college votes to reach the magical target of 270 votes, necessary to win the elections.

"Over the past month, polls have shown us winning Iowa, Ohio, Maine, Florida, Nevada and North Carolina. If we maintain our leads in those six states, we can reliably claim 266 electoral votes. Hillary can claim 193. But we'd still have 4 electoral votes to go," said Kellyanne Conway, Campaign Manager.

"Polls show us close in New Hampshire, Colorado and Pennsylvania. Winning just any one of those states would lead us to victory," she said.
