Devotees throng riverbanks on Karthik Poornima
Thousands of devotees today took a holy dip in the river Godavari here on the occasion of Karthik Poornima.
Devotees also thronged the riverbanks at Kakinada, Amalapuram and in other parts of East Godavari district.
Serpentine queues were seen at Pushkhar and other ghats here.
