The three-day diamond jubilee function of Bihar Jharkhand Sales Representatives (BSSR) Union will begin here tomorrow.
The open session of the diamond jubilee function will be inaugurated by CPI(M) polit buro member and MP Sitaram Yechury, Union General Secretary Dipak Bhattacharjee told reporters.
Since formation of BSSR union in 1952, it has championed the cause of trade union movement and continously fought for the cause of medical & sales of the country, he said.

The union has 40 units & sub units at Bihar and Jharkhand along with 9000 members, Bhattacharjee added.
He said BSSR has been on forefront to oppose 100 per cent FDI in pharmaceuticals, drug policies, dismantling the PSUs and unethical marketing and trading of medicines.
"We have strongly opposed by organising rally and other agitational programmes against the amendment of Patent Act 1970," he said.
During the diamond Jubilee function, the members would demand among others to the Union and state governments in Bihar and Jharkhand to prevent multinational companies take over domestic companies, Bhattacharjee added.
