One person was arrested in north Kashmir's Baramulla district after more than 170 kg of drugs was seized from his possession, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, police arrested Bilal Ahmad Dar from his residence in Nigli area of Sopore township in the district, police said.
Dar had been under constant police surveillance since the last few months.
Police found 173 Kg of 'fuki' during a search at his house.
Dar was taken into custody and a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act was registered against him, they said, adding, further investigation is on.
