Groundnut oil prices strengthened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to consistent demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein also gained further on sustained retail buying support.
In non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial recovered on fresh demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Linseed oil maintained its stable trend in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the edible section, Groundnut oil surged by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 770 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 760 and refined palmolein moved-up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 609 as compared to Rs 606 yesterday.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold regained Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 3,925 from Rs 3,890 and castoroil commercial climbed by Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 815 from Rs 808.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 780 per 10 kg.
