Groundnutoil prices fell in an otherwise sluggish Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid good arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein also dropped further owing to weak retail buying support.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil continued its stable trend in the absence of any largescale buying.
In the edible section, groundnutoil slipped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 750 from Monday's closing level of Rs 760, while refined palmolein dipped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 585 as compared to Rs 590 previously.
Turning to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all closed unchanged at Rs 3,950 per 100 kg, 820 per 10 kg and Rs 760 per 10 kg, respectively.
