Elderly couple murdered, house looted

An aged couple was murdered and their house was looted by unidentified robbers in civil lines locality here, police said today.

Pritivi Nath Mehra (90) and his wife Usha (85) were strangulated last night by some miscreants, who fled away with cash and jewellery from there, they said.

The incident came to light this morning when their gardener found the dead bodies and informed the police.
