Two brothers were killed and another was injured seriously when their bike was allegedly hit by an unidentified vehicle in Nihalpur village of the district, police said here today.
The incident took place last night in Kishanpur area of the village when the brothers were returning home from a marriage function.
While Ashok (34) and Deepu Tiwari (22) were killed on the spot, Sanjay (30) was injured in the incident and was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable, police said.
The police was trying to trace the vehicle, which fled from the scene after the accident.
