Engineer dies of snake bite

A 28-year-old engineer died of snake bite in Butala village in Ujhani area here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when Mukesh Kumar was sleeping at a construction site on Bareilly-Mathura highway, they said. He was rushed to a hospital, but died during treatment.

The Public Works Department is looking after the construction of a bridge at the site, they said.
